This college has been one of the most inspiring educational institution in Multan since its inception in 1998. We have chased, raised and honored excellence in a variety of disciplines. Our students have been providing enthusiastically to the development of Pakistan's society and culture.
In the year 2021, there is a lot to be proud of. Not only we are offering BS Programs in multiple disciplines but also converting college on solar system. Continuing with all these efforts, there is no time to rest on said achievements. There will always be a need to develop our potential and maximize our participation to the college within Multan and the wider country.
Our brilliant students have added on the repertoire of our great college and I am confident that future students will carry on this customs to the glory of their Alma Mater and our country. I look forward to work alongside you in serving this great institution and our homeland.

The Government of Punjab, considering the aspirations and educational needs of the residents of Shah Rukn Alam Colony, Multan, specifically for women's education, established a prestigious educational institution, Government Graduate College for Women Shah Rukn Alam Colony, on 1st July 1998.
The Government Graduate College for Women Shah Rukn Alam Colony is located in J-Block of this Colony, approximately 150 meters northwest from T Chowk Market. Under the Education Reform Program in 2010, the Punjab government constructed four laboratories, a multi-purpose hall, a college library and a staff room.Additionally, six rooms were built in Husna Begum Block. With a special grant from the Punjab government in 2018-2019, 10 more classrooms and a canteen building were constructed.
Since November 2020, the college has focused on plantation and beautification. Government Graduate College for Women Shah Rukn Alam Colony takes pride in being the first graduate college among women's colleges in Multan. The college offers a BS 4-Year program with experienced and qualified professors. Dr. Akhtar Malik, Minister of Energy, Punjab, provided 200 chairs as a grant. The institution has 50 professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and lecturers. The educational needs of the students are met by highly capable and trained faculty members. Within a short span of 24 years, the institution has achieved excellent academic results, securing prominent positions in board and university examinations. The students have also achieved positions in various competitions at the district and divisional levels.
This institution stands out among other educational institutions in Multan due to the dedication of its faculty, extraordinary efforts of the administration, hard work of the students, support from the local community, and blessings from Allah.
